Uprated Brakes

A number of upgraded brake options are available for the MGF. Some of the large disc options have been developed for the Maestro/Montego range- a component that the MGF shares. The caliper design is however different to these models however, necessitating some different parts. So ensure that the parts you are ordering are for the MGF.

Note: it may be worth while discussing brake upgrades with the supplier from whom you are purchasing parts. The 1.8i MGF does not possess ABS as standard, and is therefore prone to premature lock-up of the front wheels.
