Figure 1 (right) Open the bonnet of your F. Confronting you immediately is a black platic shroud. There are some access holes through the shroud to allow access to the brake master cylinder, clutch cylinder, and behind the spare in this picture, the washer water resevoir. |

Figure 2 (left) The shroud is easily removed by unscrewing a number of nuts from captive bolts along the lower three edges of the shroud. This will reveal the the two hydragas valves pictured opposite- located behind the resevoir bottle near the centre of the car. They look very suspiciously similar to tyre valves, and function in much the same fashion. |
